The event is a fundraiser for the Pacific Northwest Chapters of the Surfrider Foundation. To learn more about the Surfrider foundation or find a chapter in your area please visit www.surfrider.org
This fun family friendly event attracts thousands of spectators and competitors from all over the world.
As part of this year’s Clean Water we will be helping out the organization “A Warm Current” Which is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing waste in our local communities and improving the lives of young people in coastal towns and villages throughout the world. It’s mission is to collect, transport, and distribute recycled and new wetsuits to areas of the world where economic limitations make costs extraordinary to the average local. Please bring any old smaller wetsuits to the event that you would be willing to donate to those in need. A Warm Current will also be running a kids camp on the Saturday.
